Hello Hans -- You have been on the MOVE from Cape Breton Island to the west and now south to the USA. It looks like you had to bypass Red Deer, Alberta. We were definitely hoping to show you some western hospitality. Continued success on your ride. Great website and use of all things Social Media. "For those who can dream there is no such place as faraway." Sempre avanti !!
Hans, when I saw your little blue balloon vear off the main road and head for the Pemberton hw at Kamloops your sense of adventure brought this old poem by Robert Frost to mind:
The Road Not TakenRobert Frost, 1874 - 1963Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,And sorry I could not travel bothAnd be one traveler, long I stoodAnd looked down one as far as I couldTo where it bent in the undergrowth; Then took the other, as just as fair,And having perhaps the better claim,Because it was grassy and wanted wear;Though as for that the passing thereHad worn them really about the same,And both that morning equally layIn leaves no step had trodden black.Oh, I kept the first for another day!Yet knowing how way leads on to way,I doubted if I should ever come back.I shall be telling this with a sighSomewhere ages and ages hence:Two roads diverged in a wood, and I--I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference.
When you think BIG you can accomplish wonderful goals. All of our best wishes to RIde-of-Smiles as BABA draws a giant "50!" on the world map, inspiring others to join him in raising 50,000 Euro and to make their own mark on the world. Tikkun Olam!
